Holy cow time flies when your having fun or just plain lost your sanity... I have a lot of stuff to tell you. On 12/11 Ash had a field trip that I helped with, 12/12 was RoRo's 2nd birthday, 12/18 Meeting Paden at the airport while he waited for the crop duster to take him to Twin, 12/19 Ash I went ice skating with Realms, and 12/20 we all went sledding in Kaysville with the whole family.

Ash's field trip was a hike in the snow up City Creek to get the kids ready for snowshoeing in Jan., that was so much fun, Stacey and I laughed the whole time at their antics. They decided since sledding is forbidden for liability reasons that it would be okay to just slide down on their backsides. Problem was that they chose a spot with very little snow so they were very muddy. Luckily they found a better spot that slowly cleaned them up.

RoRo had a blast on his birthday, he got a huge stuffed dog that stands up and he can sit on and is about the same size as our last dog Teague, plus, a hand full of smaller Schleik animals. He drags the dog onto the couch with him and cuddles while he watches movies. He treats it just like a real dog. You'll have to see it to believe it.

We all got to see Paden on his way home from Canada where he has been for the last 2 years serving a mission. It was so much fun, we took him to get some food because he was starving. He wanted real Mexican food because apparently they don't know what that is in Canada. I have never seen someone enjoy food so much in my life, it doesn't help that he had his first Mountain Dew in 2 years as well. I'm sure he was talking everyone's leg off on the next flight. He was a little worried about how Roan would react since he only saw him the day he was born and still purple then went to the MTC. But obviously the veil is still thin for Roan because he knew who Paden was and that he has been doing something very special. When we got him back to the airport Roan started screaming in the car because he wanted to "say bye Paden, say bye Paden". So we had to dig him out so he could get a hold. It was so awesome to see him again and good to have him home.

Well I braved taking Ash ice skating thinking it was going to be a horrible experience because he would be frustrated and falling the whole time. Boy did he prove me wrong. He was awesome, I only held his hand for the first 2 times around to help him get the hang of it and he did the rest by himself. He could even get up by himself when he fell! But it was all ruined on that last time around before we were going to leave, he fell and hit his head really hard so now he hates it and will never do it again. You gotta love having a fatalist in the house.

I decided I would go and interupt Mom and Dad Hill's Saturday by taking my 2 monsters up to go sledding hoping that I could get cousins and other adults to come and help. It worked, we were able to get all the cousins rounded up and Dad, Kenny and Nate came along. They had so much fun they were all dare devils going off the jumps head first, Roan and Pierce loved it as well and went down several times. The cousins even took turns and got along. It was beautiful, not to cold or hot.

Well everything else that has been going on is the usual feeding, cleaning, trying to sleep, etc. Plus, getting all of Christmas ready. We will be going to Idaho on the 27th the go to Paden's homecoming and will be there for a week, of course Chris has to stay home and work which is par for the course. Hopefully we will make it there through the storm... say a little prayer for us.
